Available network services

UmbrellaNet makes use of several network services, so you can register your nickname and your channel and hide your host. also with security in mind.

Nickserv

 /msg N HELP command.

ACCESS                 Modify the list of authorized addresses
AJOIN                    Manage your auto join list
ALIST                     List channels you have access on
CERT                      Modify the nickname client certificate list
CONFIRM              Confirm a passcode
DROP                      Cancel the registration of a nickname
GLIST                     Lists all nicknames in your group
GROUP                   Join a group
HELP                      Displays this list and give information about commands
IDENTIFY             Identify yourself with your password
INFO                      Displays information about a given nickname
LIST                       List all registered nicknames that match a given pattern
LOGOUT               Reverses the effect of the IDENTIFY command
RECOVER             Regains control of your nick
REGISTER             Register a nickname
RESETPASS           Helps you reset lost passwords
SET                         Set options, including kill protection
STATUS                 Returns the owner status of the given nickname
UNGROUP             Remove a nick from a group
UPDATE                 Updates your current status, i.e. it checks for new memos

Accounts that are not used anymore are subject to the automatic expiration, i.e. they will be deleted after 365 days if not used.

To register your nickname ‘/msg N register <password> <email>’

ChanServ

/msg U command. For more information on a specific command, type /msg U HELP command.

BAN                Bans a given nick or mask on a channel
DROP              Cancel the registration of a channel
GETKEY        Returns the key of the given channel
HELP              Displays this list and give information about commands
INFO               Lists information about the specified registered channel
INVITE           Invites you or an optionally specified nick into a channel
KICK              Kicks a specified nick from a channel
LIST                Lists all registered channels matching the given pattern
REGISTER     Register a channel
STATUS          Find a user’s status on a channel
UNBAN           Remove all bans preventing a user from entering a channel

Used to manage the list of privileged users
ACCESS, AOP, FLAGS, HOP, LEVELS, QOP, SOP, VOP

Used to modify the channel status of you or other users
DEHALFOP, DEOP, DEOWNER, DEPROTECT, DEVOICE
DOWN, HALFOP, OP, OWNER, PROTECT, UP, VOICE

Used to manage channels
AKICK, CLONE, ENFORCE, ENTRYMSG, LOG, MODE
SET, SYNC, TOPIC

Use the HELP ALL command to list all commands and their descriptions.

VhostServ

 V commands:


GROUP              Syncs the vhost for all nicks in a group
HELP                  Displays this list and give information about commands
OFF                    Deactivates your assigned vhost
ON                     Activates your assigned vhost
REQUEST          Request a vHost for your nick

To request a vhost ‘/msg V request my.shiny.vhost’. An oper will approve your request.

 

BotServ

 /msg B HELP command.


ACT                    Makes the bot do the equivalent of a “/me” command
ASSIGN             Assigns a bot to a channel
BADWORDS     Maintains the bad words list
BOTLIST            Lists available bots
HELP                  Displays this list and give information about commands
INFO                  Allows you to see B information about a channel or a bot
KICK                 Configures kickers
SAY                   Makes the bot say the specified text on the specified channel
SET                    Configures bot options
UNASSIGN       Unassigns a bot from a channel


Bot will join a channel whenever there is at least 1 user(s) on it.
Additionally, if fantasy is enabled fantasy commands can be executed by prefixing the command name with one of the following characters: !
